Meet Our Expert - Rebecca Perkins
When I was eleven I had my first ever lesson on a horse it was the best day of my life and I knew from that moment I was gonna be around horses for ever. I started taking lessons with an amazing instructor Michelle foltz bock who taught me everything I know and gave me the opportunity to learn different skills and horsemanship. I had started working for her at 16 and have been under her guidance for 7 years working horses teaching lessons and taking care of the horses in all aspects helping with vet care dental care and of course holding for our farrier I always found an interest in it and watching him help these horses look and move their best. the way one small detail can make them feel so much better. I started apprenticeship with him and have been under his guidance for a year and still continue to Learn from him every day being a farrier isn’t just about trimming the horse but requires a lot of patience and horsemanship to do the job.
